About the Course
During a recession or a period of RIFs and Retrenchment, dealing with loss and change, and grieving the losses, from programs and departments to colleagues and locations, is critical for recovering resilience. In this webinar, participants will learn: a) the stages of grief, especially as it relates to job/organizational loss, and how to recognize and prevent/recover from burnout. Breaking out of fearful inertia is vital, as is learning to take small yet meaningful risk-taking steps and reaching out for emotional-social support. Finally, having Hi-Task and Hi-Touch Team Meetings is essential for dealing with the group/community loss and maintaining cohesion and morale.
