About the Coach:
Holly Bruder is the head coach of the Lamar University Cardinals softball team in Beaumont, Texas. She has been head coach of Lamar since the program was restarted in 2012. From 2008 to 2011, she was the head coach at Morehead State in Morehead, Kentucky. Prior to the seasons at Morehead State, she served as head coach at Denison University in Granville, Ohio for six years (2002–2007).
Who this course is for:
- Softball coaches at any level should take this course. Also, players at high school level would benefit from participating in this course
- Students should already be familiar with the basic fundamentals of softball. Equipment required includes a ball, a bat , glove, and protective gear
- Students will be able to know the fundamentals of fielding, throwing and hitting. They will know several of the best drills to practice to achieve success in softball
